New or Noteworthy Street Closings or Restrictions

• Beginning Thursday, April 19, 2012 at 9:00 a.m., Leavenworth Street will have one eastbound lane closed from 30^th Street to Park Avenue.  This restriction is due to street reconstruction and will be in effect until May 5, 2012.   Extended until June 15, 2012.
• Beginning Monday, May 14, 2012 at 9:00 a.m., 30^th Street will have a northbound lane closed from Willit Street to Tucker Street.  This restriction is due to street & sidewalk reconstruction and will be in effect for three (3) weeks.
• Beginning Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at 9:00 a.m., 48^th Street will have various lane restrictions from “Q” Street to Harrison Street.  These restrictions are due to ADA ramp installations and will be in effect for ten (10) days.
• Beginning Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at 9:00 a.m., Harney Street will have two (2) eastbound lanes closed from 19^th Street to 17^th Street.  The north lane will be open only for garage parking at the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center.  This restriction is due to utility work and will be in effect until May 25, 2012.
• Effective immediately, Harney Street will have one eastbound lane closed from 28^th Street to 27^th Avenue  This restriction is due to utility work and will be in effect for one (1) week.  (5.17.12)
• Effective immediately, Ames Avenue will have a westbound lane closed from Florence Boulevard to 24^th Street.  This restriction is due to utility work and will be in efect for 5-7 days.  (5.17.12) 
• Beginning Friday, May 18, 2012 at 9:00 a.m., 96^th Street will have various lane restrictions from Paddock Road to West Center Frontage Road.  These restrictions are due to ADA ramp installation and will be in effect for five (5) days.
• Beginning Monday, May 21, 2012 at 9:00 a.m., the intersection of 24^th Avenue & Harney Street will have one lane closed eastbound and two lanes closed southbound.  These restrictions are due to sewer repair and will be in effect for one (1) week.
• Beginning Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at 9:00 a.m., 90^th Street will have various lane restrictions from “L” Street to “Q” Street.  These restrictions are due to ADA ramp installation and will be in effect for seven (7) days.

Postponed 

• Beginning Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at 12:00 noon, 120^th Street will have one southbound lane closed just north of “I” Street.  This restriction is due to private water service installation and will be in effect for three to four (3-4) days.
• Beginning Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at 9:00 a.m., 16^th Street will have the northbound lane restricted from Howard Street to Harney Street.  This restriction is due to emergency Cox Cable repair and will be in effect for 3 to 4 days.  Flaggers will be used.
• Beginning Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at 9:00 a.m., Fort Street will have an eastbound lane closed at 103^rd Street.  This restriction is due to utility work and will be in effect for one (1) day.
