It nearly goes without saying, but air quality affects each of us. Whether working, playing, or exercising outdoors, the quality of the air we breathe directly impacts the quality of life we lead. Likewise, our actions as individuals and members of a community affect the air we all breathe. When we drive to work or to the store, use gas-powered lawn equipment, or even turn the thermostat down a couple of degrees to cool off from the summer heat, we are contributing to the air pollution in our community. While our modern life necessitates some levels of air pollution, there are some things we can each do as individuals, organizations, and industries to help keep our air as clean as possible while enjoying that life.
