Glenn Cunningham Lake
All spaces available on a first come basis. Fees will be paid in advance at the campground kiosk, only cash payments are accepted. The campground is now open.
The 390 acre lake is surrounded by more than 1,050 acres of park land in north central Omaha. The lake project opened to the public in 1977. Visitors enjoy picnicking, no-wake boating, hiking and bicycling on asphalt trails, nature study opportunities and fishing. Horseback riding is permitted on designated trails. The lake is a popular spot for windsurfing. There is a 7 day total limit in a 30 day period. This limit applies to Cunningham and N.P. Dodge as one park. Fee will be paid in advance to the campground manager. For questions please call the Park Caretaker at 444-4628.

N.P. Dodge Park
8/23/2010: NP Dodge Park: The park is currently open with limited access. The public boat ramps are open. The Crows Nest is now open and pumping gas. The shelter, and play ground remain closed. The campgrounds will remain closed for the rest of the 2010 season. We will monitor the water levels closely and open all areas of the park as soon as possible. This site will be updated as soon as new information is available.
N.P. Dodge Park Camping area is a 445 acre park that offers a wide variety of recreational activities. There are two "double-wide" park boat rams located next to the Crow's Nest on the Missouri River. The Crow's Nest offers gas, ice and soft drinks.

There is a nice natural area around the inlet north of the marina for river fishing. A fishing permit is needed from the Nebraska Game & Parks Commission - not available on site. A large pavilion and many picnic shelters are available in the park. To reserve call 402-444-5920.
Much of the park remains a natural, open area. A horse trail is available at the north edge of the park. Bike paths and walking trails are around the south edge of the park.
