Title
I of WIA provides for various job training programs and
activities. The WIA evolved from JTPA and was
established to prepare youth and unskilled and dislocated
adults entry or re-entry into the labor force.
Services
available through the One Stop Center programs are based on
the WIA concept of choice within the continuum of Core,
Intensive and Training Services. To that end, the One
Stop through a cohesive network of partner agencies, provides
job seeking, job preparation and training to those facing
economic and other barriers to employment. Through the One -
Stop partners and referrals to outside agencies, client’s
supportive service needs are addressed. This holistic system
ensures successful outcomes for our customers.
