WHAT WE ARE ABOUT

The City Clerk's office provides administrative, research and legislative support to the City Council of Omaha, Nebraska.  This includes the processing of ordinances, resolutions and all related documents.

The City Clerk’s office maintains records in regard to liquor licenses and keno operations within the City of Omaha, City of Omaha lobbyist registrations, sanitary and improvement districts, claims filed against the City, proofs of publications, public hearing notifications, surety bonds, and oaths of city employees.

WHEN WE MEET

The City Council meets every Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in the Legislative Chambers.  A staff meeting is also held every Tuesday at 10:30 a.m.  Some Tuesdays the City Council may elect not to meet.  The schedule and agendas are available here.
